This Privacy Policy describes how TractionOps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the TractionOps Driver mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

Account information: Name and identity verified by your dispatcher.
Location data: GPS coordinates while a load is active, used to share your position with dispatch.
Photos: Images you upload (BOLs, pickup photos, fuel receipts) stored securely for load documentation.
Device information: Push notification token to send you load alerts.
Usage data: Load status updates, check-ins, and document uploads.

How We Use Your Information

To coordinate freight dispatch and track load progress
To send push notifications about your assigned loads
To process and store load documentation (BOLs, receipts)
To calculate driver pay and generate settlement reports

Location Data

Location is only collected while you have an active load. We do not track your location outside of active load assignments. Location data is shared with your dispatcher and is not sold to third parties.

Photos and Documents

Photos you upload are stored securely in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage and are only accessible to authorized dispatch personnel at your carrier.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Your carrier/dispatcher (who manages your account)
Service providers who help operate our platform (Microsoft Azure, Supabase)
As required by law

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed for legal and business purposes. You may request deletion by contacting your dispatcher.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure token authentication, and encrypted storage.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by commercial truck drivers who are adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
